BWYT Progression Course leading to L4 Diploma
in Teaching Yoga (AIC)

September 2026 with Tiffany Thorne

Overview

Training Introduction

Open to 300 Hour BWY Certificate holders, the Progression to the Level 4 BWY Yoga Teacher Diploma is a one year course from September 2026-2027.

This Progression will follow the Advanced Integration Course (AIC) integration element. The AIC is the new pathway to holding the Level 4 BWY Yoga Teacher Diploma open to 200 Hour trained yoga teachers who begin in March and having completed integration will join the 300 Hour BWY Certificate holders on the Autumn start Progression course.

How the Training Works

The Progression element of the AIC runs one year from September 2026-2027 with in person days in Cambridge blended with Zoom study days.  Study covers a year of monthly weekends with in-person Saturday sessions and Zoom sessions on Sundays, with each study day running for four hours 10.00 am -2.00 pm. The progression element philosophy assignments will be explained on the Introductory day in Cambridge, when you will also get to meet Sarah O'Connor who is the pranayama specialist on the progression course.

After Introductory Day you can dive in to the Doctor Yogi Anatomy course if you have not already done this on the BWY Certificate course you have undertaken. The Anatomy is to be completed as self-paced study by September 2026 when the progression begins but you continue to have access to the material right through the progression element of the course.

Students will come to a summer workshop on the nervous system on 4 July with specialist tutor Charlotte Preston when the whole group of AIC/progression students will come together for the first time! This is a lovely day with our specialist getting together for a teaching day in the venue, after which BWY certificate teachers and newly integrated 200 hour teachers will come together to begin the Progression element of the AIC in September culminating in achieving the Level 4 BWY Yoga Teacher Diploma.
